Neighborhood Resource List
For years, the Highland Lakes Men's Club has been sharing tips on good vendors to work with in our neighborhood.
It is always great to have recommendations from your neighbors when planning a project for your home and we are glad to share them on this site.
We will post a link to their list here and will keep it continually updated, thanks to Vinne Alonzo (TheHighlandLakesGuy.com).
You can download the lastest version of the list as a PDF by clicking here
Squirrels at Play
Barry and Lynnette Clemmons have a tree near the lake that has a hole about 20 feet up. Barry followed a squirrel as it climbed the tree and jumped in the hole. The squirrel then turned around to watch Barry as he got closer to the tree - then another little head appeared above the first. What an adorable shot! They almost look like they are posing...
Recycle Your Newspapers for the Humane Society
Bob Wadhams has graciously volunteered to take newspapers to the humane society for our neighborhood. Please see directions below.
A reminder about dogs
Per covenant agreement, all dogs should be inside from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM. If you have a dog that likes to bark, please make sure a neighbor can put them up for you if you are going to be out late. Consideration of our neighbors should always be top priority.
